Malarone Paediatric

To start your free online consultation please select the treatment you require from the options below. Malarone Paediatric (Atovaquone Proguanil) can be started 2 days before you enter a malaria risk zone and should be taken for 7 days after you return.

Malarone Peadiatric tablets should be started 2 days before traveling and for 7 days upon returning. The usual dose to prevent malaria will depend on your child’s weight, so please choose from the relevant weight category when placing your order.

• 11-20 kg - 1 tablet once a day
• 21-30 kg - 2 tablets once a day (as a single dose)
• 31-40 kg - 3 tablets once a day (as a single dose)

IMPORTANT: If you need to order malaria tablets for other Adult family members you must order them seperately with an account in their name in order for our doctor to be able to review the prescription request.
