The initial physical symptoms are usually more severe than thew further recurrent outbreaks. Initial symptoms include.

  • Discharge from the penis or vagina
  • Pain when urinaing
  • Fever

The symptoms of subsequent outbreaks are generally less severe and may include:

  • Tingling or burning sensation before your blisters appear.
  • Painful blisters that burst leaving sores around the genitals or rectum.
