Shipping & delivery

When placing your order with NationWide Pharmacies customers must provide the accurate delivery information. NationWide Pharmacies does not accept responsibility for lost orders due to inaccurate delivery information.

All delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delivery costs are listed below and NationWide Pharmacies reserve the right to review and change them at any time.

Prescription Medicines can only be delivered to addresses in the UK.

PLEASE NOTE: Orders placed using the 'next day delivery' shipping option only refers to when the order is despatched and NOT placed. The shipping of orders are dependent on the Doctor issuing a prescription. If the order is placed before 12 midday and the Doctor approves the order in time it will be shipped the same day. Please note that we require at least 2 working days before we can ship requests for Pain Relief and Asthma treatments when using this option.

Please note that due to GPhC regulations, we are obliged to hold backorders for pain relief and asthma treatments for a minimum of 2 working days prior to despatching. This is to ensure our pharmacy carries out the necessary safeguarding practices and measures.

Due to changes made 17/03/2017 to MHRA guidelines for the supply of medicines to other EU countries. We can no longer supply those countries, to do so would put us in breach of our Common EU Logo license.

Prescription Orders

All private prescription orders and non-prescription orders can be delivered free of charge by Royal Mail Tracked 48 service.

All private prescription orders are delivered by Royal Mail 24 or 48 Tracked Services. All POM orders can only be despatched once they have been cleared by our doctor. All prescriptions are reviewed by our doctor within 24 hours and normal delivery will take 1-3 days.

Any orders where the next day delivery shipping option is selected and paid for is only relevant from when the item is depatched from our pharmacy and not placed as the shipping of a medication request is dependent upon Doctor's approval.

Non Prescription Orders

For over the counter (non-POM) orders under £15 in value, we charge £2 for UK delivery based and total cost of the order, regardless of how many items you order. Standard delivery is sent Royal Mail 48 Trackers service and will normally take 2-5 days. The vast majority of orders are dispatched either on the same day or the following day. Royal Mail Tracked 24 service is also an option here but is chargeable.

If your order includes both over the counter and POM items the order will be sent free of charge. Your total order will be despatched once your POM items have been approved by our doctor. Your order will be delivered using Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. A signature will be required on receipt of your order.

Order Insurance

Our insured delivery service provides full cover against loss or theft. In the event that your goods are lost or stolen in the post, you will be entitled to a choice of a full refund or the goods replaced at no extra cost. Goods will be considered possibly lost or stolen if they have not been received at the delivery address within 30 days of the shipment date. Once the 30 day period has passed a trace will be instigated by the postal services. Once the postal services have confirmed that the parcel is lost a full refund or replacement will be issued. In the event that the postal services report the goods have been correctly delivered, this will be final and binding and a refund will not be issued. In this case, all relevant information will be passed to the customer so they can pursue the matter further with the postal services.

Delayed & Lost Orders

Delayed and lost orders can only be investigated and confirmed after 30 working days from the original delivery due date. If an item is undelivered customers should check with their local Royal Mail Delivery Office in the first instance. To find your nearest Royal Mail Delivery Office you can contact the Royal Mail on 0845 6050767. This automated service will give you the address and opening hours of your nearest Delivery Office.
