Make May Purple for stroke is an annual stroke awareness month, which takes place every May. This campaign is hosted by Stroke Association. Friends, families and communities come together and are invited to show their support for people who have been affected by a stroke. The primary aim of the campaign is to help raise awareness of strokes and support those who are suffering or may be at risk of a stroke.

Ms Awareness Week will be held from Monday 23rd April 2018 until Sunday 29th April 2018 with the primary purpose of raising awareness and support people living with MS. This will be held by MS Trust which is a UK charity that provides trusted information to help people with MS live the best life possible; train and educate MS health professionals to offer the best care and fund MS nurses in the areas of greatest need.

Allergy Awareness Week will take place on Monday 23rd April 2018 until Sunday 29th April 2018; this week is designed to raise awareness of people living with allergies. This year the focus of the campaign will be on travelling with an allergy and raising awareness of the issues faced by people with allergy when travelling.

This Year FND Awareness Day will be taking place on Friday 13th April 2018 with the leading charity FND Hope and the purpose is to raise awareness for Functional Neurological Disorders so that people know the signs and symptoms and can be diagnosed supporting people suffering with FND.

This is an annual opportunity to come together and raise awareness of Parkinson’s across the UK. World Parkinson’s Day will be taking place on Wednesday 11th April 2018 and this will be a global effort to raise awareness of Parkinson’s.

Around 85% of UK adults are experiencing stress regularly. It is important to raise awareness so people understand stress and can deal with stress.
